Walking Eve to preschool and back
Monopoly – continuing game
Solving linear equations on math factor – started off well but Toby found this challenging. He understands the rules about balancing equations and I think he has the ability but he doesn’t like writing down his working out and they involve too many steps to do in your head. Did negative numbers afterwards which he was more comfortable with. Then math factor games.

Walking to collect Eve from preschool then walking back through the woods to the Manor. They were both great, Toby was having adventures and exploring and even some drizzly rain didn’t put them off!

Toby watched VSauce at lunchtime.

He using the geometry set to draw different polygons and started drawing lines between the corners. He was investigating the different line patterns he could make and referenced Vi Hart’s videos while doing it. He then drew some 3D shapes and we had a go at colouring in the least colours with no same colour shapes touching.

After this Eve and Toby briefly played stuffitystuff.

Toby then read Astrosaurs.

During iPad time he started using Geogebra again – looking at the lines in polygons and patterns.

Jennifer and Lee came over this evening and Toby and Eve were building DNA and molecules using the molymod set. Toby continued after Eve went to sleep.

Toby read some Astrosaurs.

At bedtime Toby and I did a bit more Monopoly.
