We got ready and drove down to South Downs to stay in a caravan for a couple of days.

We went to Bodiam castle in the afternoon. It was fantastic! Built over 600 years ago, it is now maintained by the National Trust. We walked around it and went inside, climbing up narrow stone staircases to walk along the battlements. We learnt about medieval soldiers and the history of the castle.
