Cranium

This morning we watched lots of Ted Eds and Numberphiles- Toby was particularly interested in dark matter.

We played a Toby version of Cranium which Aunty Maggy had given to Toby.

We played Poker – we looked up the rules to find out the order of hands and wrote them down. Toby handled it when he lost hands but found it difficult.

We then made a long strip of circles and did frog on lily pad puzzles inspired by Numberphile using poker pieces. The frogs have rules which we wrote down. Toby extended the rules and made new puzzles.

Later we played with paper strips making Dragon curves, concertinas – square and triangles and lots more.
