Today was amazing day filled with lots of learning and fun! Again I just have a huge list!
- Read See Inside Maths to Eve while in bed 🙂
- Blocks – building towers and making patterns
- Piano – practising for lesson without me prompting him to!
- Watched Periodic table videos for Hydrogen and Helium. These are from Ted-ed which we love!
- Stuffity stuff – the game Toby and Eve love to play together 🙂
- Practising Spanish numbers on way to park
- Echo vibrations in wood. Toby discovered that you hear interesting sounds by listening to the wooden support for the zip wire! Reminded him of an app and me of the Tardis!
- Lots of exercise in the park – especially on zip wire
- Practised multiplication tables on way home. He knows 2,3,4,5,9,10 and 11. We got home before checking the others!
- Spanish numbers and Spanish maths symbols. We learnt más (plus), menos (minus), por (times), es/son (equals). So we were able to ask each other Spanish maths questions!
- Created maths games on paper
- Piano practice
- Played an entire game of Tummyache with me and Eve – amazing as he usually won’t play this as he hates the bugs.
- Multiplication and division challenge cards from twinkl
- Fractions of shapes challenge cards from twinkl
- Beaker science app for combining elements to see what happens
- Pyramids app – exploring the Egyptian pyramids! Fascinating!
- Continued with the squares game we were making yesterday, added numbers 10-20 and times and divide symbols. Created some advanced rules. We started playing it too.
