Outdoors day!

This morning we went to Junior Parkrun – this was Toby’s 5th run! Both Toby and Eve did really well! Afterwards we did a big walk and went to the playground – Toby and Eve were brilliant together, climbing, running after each other and adapting to each other 🙂

Toby read Mummy, Steve Cole book on the way home – we are trying to introduce a bit of variety from Astrosaurs!

Toby watched VSauce at lunchtime.

After lunch we went to Thames Chase Forest park. We have never been before. It’s fab, we will definitely go again! Toby and Eve played on the playground then we hired bikes – Toby and Chris went on a tandem together and I went on a bike with a buggy attached for Eve. It was great fun 🙂 Toby was doing all the peddling for quite a while so maybe next time he can try the medium trike 🙂 There is so much more to do there – a nature trail and lots of activities for little people.

Soon after we got back Nannie Toni and Kevin came over. Toby made a domino pyramid with Kevin with the 12 spot dominoes. They talked about the patterns.

After dinner Toby did Math Factor. He played some games then he did division with remainders which I thought was going to be too hard for him but he watched the tutorial and got full marks in the practise – amazing!
