We started off the day with Junior Parkrun, Eve and Chris ran together and I ran with Toby. Toby did really well – keeping a good pace all the way round 🙂 He got a personal best of 11 mins 3 secs – go Toby!
Tracey, Dave, Aimee and Erin, Julie, Luke, Hayley and Mia, Nannie Toni and Kevin, Granny and Granddad all came over at 11am. All the children played so well together, it was brilliant. Some of the things they did were play on the climbing frame, bounce on the mini bouncy castle, build block structures, play snakes and ladders, do stuffitystuff and make potions and perfumes with grass, leaves, food colouring and water and Science kit! Toby joined in everything 🙂
He spent quite a bit of time reading Secret Agent Mummy.
It was fanstastic that he could play with everyone else without needing constant supervision and getting into difficulty.
At iPad time he spent some time doing some of the new maths and science apps that we put on yesterday.
