Puzzle

This morning we took Eve to preschool then went to the skatepark, playground and street climbing – Toby had a great time and listened well to instructions.

We walked home then I wrote out 5 subtractions of increasing difficulty (in the hundreds), followed by 5 multiplications (up to 100) of increasing difficulty – the final one was very difficult and Toby worked hard to answer it.

We walked to collect Eve and all came back on the bus. We had discussions about cloud types as we got rained on!

At home Toby watched lots of Ted Eds while eating lunch.

After lunch Toby and Eve played quite a detailed imaginary game where Eve was Mummy to a baby and Toby was going out to collect food and milk for them and get any baddies!

We then did the huge UK and Ireland puzzle. This was a very useful Geography session as Toby and I were working together to complete the puzzle by discussing the pictures shown on each area and the names of significant cities shown. I was very impressed that he concentrated for long enough to finish it.

Later I asked Toby to write down the dream he had been telling me about. He did this by drawing diagrams of what happened.
