SNAPtastic

Toby started today with another tooth falling out – it came out in his bran flakes! That’s the 4 front ones out now 🙂

He watched Ted Eds while eating breakfast.

We walked Eve to preschool then went to the skatepark, playground and street climbing. Toby scooted home – great listening and not going too far.

He did 4.5 pages of the English workbook. I am still doing the writing but he is really engaging with it. The things he found trickiest today were collective noun questions. He has not come across those words before.

We went to collect Eve – Toby scooted all the way. We went to the skatepark after where they both did lots of running about!

Once at home we ate lunch. Toby had Mexican bean rice, he is definitely more up for trying new things 🙂 He watched 1/2 of VSauce Fixed Points.

After lunch both Toby and Eve were very excited to watch the new Numberblocks espisode about number nine!

In the afternoon, we played lots of games including dinosaur top trumps (Toby was also comparing the dinosaurs on the different attributes and finding those that were best for each and looking at how that effected other attributes, for example, a heavy dinosaur is likely to be slow). We played four in a row and a game that Eve made up from letter and picture cards – it was sweet that Toby was playing it too 🙂

Toby made up a game called ‘Change’ with the Fanta Color pin board and wrote up a blog post with photo to explain the rules.

Eve and I made cakes after this while Toby read for almost an hour. He read Easy Questions, Evil Answers.

We then went to SNAPtastic for the first time in a long time. The last time we went Toby got very anxious and we couldn’t stay. He was completely relaxed today, he was looking forward to doing a dot picture with Alison and was asking where she was. Alison spent ages with him – they did a dot picture then he made a bracelet and showed her Möbius Strips and explained what they are. We also played air hockey and Toby tried out magic tricks. A great success!

Before bed Toby watched the rest of the VSauce Fixed Points from earlier and read some more Easy Questions, Evil Answers.
