Toby had thought about mathematical patterns quite a lot today. He has come up with a set of instructions to follow given a set of numbers. Inspired by the Collatz conjecture, he is interested to see what patterns arise with different sets of numbers. Do they all end up in loops or terminate. We wrote out pseudo code so hopefully we will code it up together soon. Really great thinking from Toby. He decided to call it the Tobias conjecture.
We walked Eve to preschool this morning then popped to the shops to get decongestant. We walked home through the Manor woods – Toby was pleased that he got so many steps!
Once home we did the maths discussed above and played Monopoly.
He also watched VSauce, did EdPlace and Grammar app.
Auntie Jennifer came over in the evening and Toby and her played Scrabble.
