Toby had been awake a lot in the night but was very happy this morning!

So far he has read Silly book of side splitting stuff and played some digital piano.

We walked Eve to preschool and then went to the skatepark and playground!

Once home Toby did a Maths EdPlace then we tried out the symbolic calculator on the iPad. We copied the example of how to create your own function and add it to the global functions. Toby wanted one to identify primes so we looked at existing functions and found ifactor so we should be able to use that in our function.

Toby also played digital piano for about 15 minutes – woo!

We walked to collect Eve and went to the playground and street climbing afterwards.

We got the bus home and Toby got straight back into doing the symbolic calculator – he did some really interesting calculations with raising i (complex number) to various powers. He discovered that you can use it to solve equations giving all possible solutions.

Toby did lots more piano playing with Dust Busters. He played some ‘remixes’ of songs and started writing the notes down for them in Notion. This is very challenging and he did find it frustrating but carried on going.

He did another couple of EdPlaces too including a literature one.

He read the Silly book of side splitting stuff more.

Grandad came over this evening for dinner. Toby asked Grandad about his family and entered the information into the Ancestry app.

Toby told Grandad lots of jokes and did a fantastic goodbye!
